Suicide is one of the leading causes of preventable death in our nation today. We lose an average of more than 130 young people each week to this preventable epidemic.
You might ask how it can be prevented. Education, relationships, and more people talking about mental health. It starts with our families and parenting. Our schools and churches need to be more invested. We all can do a better job being supportive and non-judgemental.
