The Jeff Yalden Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit foundation started after 25 years of Jeff Yalden advocating for mental health awareness and becoming one of the most sought after suicide prevention and crisis intervention experts in the world. Jeff is renowned for his work, education, and in the trenches experience with teen suicide, mental health awareness, and crisis intervention working with teens, parents, educators, and professionals.
Jeff Yalden is an expert consultant for educators and professionals in the area of technology and how it relates to our mental health. A renowned motivational mental health speaker who speaks worldwide to teens, educators, mental health professionals, and school communities. He’s a popular keynote speaker and consultant at schools, mental health conferences, colleges and universities; talking to both students, parents, educators, guidance counselors, mental health professionals, crisis counselors, therapists, social workers, doctors, and psychotherapists about the on-line world and how technology can best be used for our optimal well-being and the downside of today’s technology on our mental health.
As a resident of the Myrtle Beach community, after two teens suicides locally, Jeff decided to do more in the community. The Jeff Yalden Foundation, Inc.’s Speak Up ; Reach Out Campaign is about bringing awareness, training, and educational resources to our local schools and community.
We are looking for our school staff personnel: administrators, teachers, guidance counselors, teens, parents, and community leaders to help us. We are all responsible and play a big role in educating our teens and parents. The more we are talking the more we are supporting one another and silencing the stigma. Join the movement and help us save lives and let people know it’s OK to Speak Up ; Reach Out.
Watch Jeff’s TEDx talk, “
TEEN SUICIDE: The WHY Behind America’s Suicide Epidemic.”
