Why do I have so many satisfied clients? Because I insist on giving them more than they expect. In my group presentations, I concentrate on making a direct connection with the audience. When the connection is made, the message is better received, because it comes from someone the audience trusts. I deliver short stories that lead students to healthier lifestyles, free of drugs and filled with humor and joy. I take pride in being a role model to today's youth, and teach them how it is “cool to be happy” and to do right by others. I teach them about their own personal power, and their ability to reach their potential.
I also take pride in working with adults – male, female, married, single – by helping them to recognize that character equals destiny…that success in careers, relationships, and life can be determined by the actions we choose to take or not take; that ultimately we are the architects of our own lives. As human beings, we have a tendency to concentrate on all the ways life can beat us up. I encourage people to shift to an “attitude of gratitude”, and to open up to the good fortune that surrounds all of us. It is my great joy to meet with people after presentations. I am always honored by the intense reactions to my message It allows me to see firsthand the change taking place in their perspective. Sometimes, there is an emotional outpouring from young people touched by the message. That is the most gratifying part of my job – seeing people’s light turn on, sharing in the transformation.
